MUSICAMORFOSI is a musical
association. It is not a closed group, but an open network that brings
together thinking minds and unsparing performers, ideas on the edge,
up-and-coming & underground actors, jazz & pop musicians, songwriters,
video-artists and creative/ideas men & women.
Saul
Beretta music inventor,
promoter and stirrer of unusual music events, is Musicamorfosi's contriver/promoter
and artistic director.
Musicamorfosi has developed its programme of music education, cultural
production and performances in the Monza and Brianza territory promoting
an innovative method of music research that led to the format where
live performance languages and forms - videos, theatre, classical and
contemporary music, jazz and ethno music, blend in a harmonious and
meaningful whole.
Since 2003 Musicamorfosi conceived and
produced for the municipality of Monza LAMPI an original season for
music theatre not bound to any pre-constituted genre, a cultural bet
that was particularly appreciated by well-known figures in the contemporary
music world, be it classical, jazz or ambiance (Mario Brunello, Vinicio
Capossela, La Crus, Stefano Bollani, Gianmaria Testa, Giovanni Venosta,Giovanni
Falzone). The season, originally staged at the Teatrino di Corte of
the Royal Villa of Monza, is now hosted at the new theatre Binario 7.
For the Milan Provincial Council, Department Monza Brianza, the association
conceived and produced the format NOTTURNI a series of music, theatre
and video shows to promote the artistic heritage of the Brianza area.
As a music ensemble, Musicamorfosi has performed numerous world and
Italian premieres, for Fabbri Editore the ensemble recorded the 1st
cutting of F.Donatoni's Concertino (more than 10,000 copies sold), for
Auditorium: Lampi and for Velut LUNA the cd Luz, and has performed live
on Radiorai3 and RadioPopolare. For Auditorium Musicamorfosi recorded
the cd Bye Bye Mozart wihich was released ??? with the magazine Insound
in 10,000 copies and is now being released in the USA . The song De
Cara a la pared - originally recorded for LUZ - was included in the
prestigious compilation 10 Corso Como and was released in Europe, America
and Japan.
For projects of classical / contemporary music, Musicamorfo is working
on a regular basis with : Mario Brunello, Sandro Gorli and Divertimento
Ensemble, Conservatorio G. Verdi of Milan, Orchestra Archi Italiana,
Michele Tadini and Agon, Renato Rivolta, MM&T. For movie soundracks
: Giovanni Venosta, Maurizio Marsico; for jazz and art songs / authors'
songs: Vinicio Capossela, Giovanni Falzone, Gianmaria Testa, La Crus,
Sandro Cerino, Daniele Di Gregorio; for the stage : Andrea Taddei, FIlippo
Timi, Francesco Frongia, Massimiliano Cividati, Gaetano Callegaro, Moni
